Tomb Extraction

Tomb Extraction is the latest game mode added to the Outpost.
To access Tomb Extraction the player needs only to purchase or otherwise obtain a “Crypt Gem”.
Crypt Gems can be found being sold by Ivy the cosmetics vendor or found during Dungeon Raids in rare Rune Chests.
Rune Chests are rarely spawning chests within Dungeon Raids that require the player to gather four Runic Keys (Blocks with runes on them)

Using Crypt Gems

To use Crypt Gems the player must locate the Crypt Altar within the Outpost.
The Altar can be found deep within the underground section near the seasonal game area and in front of the skull entryway.
Upon approaching the Crypt Altar an interface will appear for the player to interact with displaying all currently collected runes. (Obtained from Rune Chests)
The player will need to insert a Crypt Gem into the base of the Altar in order to select Runes.

Crypt Altar

After inserting a Crypt Gem into the Crypt Altar the host can select up to seven of their collected Runes.
Rune combinations act as keys for specific loot drops.
Each key is unique and reusable. Entering the same key again will open to the same Crypt and allow the player to replay the Dungeon.

Crypts

Crypts are new dungeons that are ensnared by darkness. The player must use new weapons available solely within the Crypt to guide them through.
While withing the Crypts players will be without any outside weapons and potions.
Crypts are home to dormant skeletons and new patrolling enemies known as the Sieve (S-i-ff).
Players must make their way through the darkness by either embracing the shadows or by spreading the light.
New interactables in the form of Crystal Sconces can be found within and can be illuminated using either Light Arrows or the Light Bringer Staff.
Illuminating dark rooms with cause dormant skeletons and patrolling Sieve to pursue the player.
Players will gather loot and potions while within the crypts and attempt to reach the extraction lift without perishing.
If a player fails to extract they will loose all items gained.

Sarcophagi

While diving players will occasionally encounter sarcophagi that be broken into using the Power Hammer.
These stone coffins function as the looting system withing crypts and will always contain a ring.
Players can sometimes obtain potions from these lootables as well.
