Guild: Eternal Legion

Home world: Legana

Threat: Imminent Stellar Supernova

Objective: Restore planetary stability by reactivating ancient technology

Overview: You are a member of the Eternal Legion, an elite guild dispatched from the planet Legana. A nearby star is nearing supernova - a catastrophic event that threatens to annihilate your home world. Decades ago, a team known as Nova Guild investigated the crisis and discovered Planet Eternity, a mysterious and largely uncharted world riddled with ancient tunnels and arcane technology.

Mission Brief: Beneath Eternity’s surface lies a massive network of underground passageways, some natural, some artificial - all woven around colossal machines designed to siphon and regulate cosmic energy. These constructs, likely built by an extinct civilization, were once powerful enough to prevent stellar collapse. Now they are failing.

The Nova Guild attempted to restart the machines, but communications with them and the drones they deployed were lost. Their last transmission suggested hostile forces were rising within the tunnels, drawn to the power of the dormant machines.

You and your team must:

Explore Eternity’s vast subterranean dungeon network

Battle through corrupted wildlife, rival guilds, and arcane defenders

Locate and repair the lost drones

Reactivate the cosmic energy siphoning machines before time runs out

Supporting Infrastructure: Orbital outposts now ring Planet Eternity to serve as landing points, resupply hubs, and communication relays. These stations are lightly staffed by 1-4 members of the Eternal Legion and heavily reliant on your success in the field.

Current Status: The fate of Legana rests on your shoulders. The tunnels are dark. The enemies are many. But the Eternal Legion does not retreat.

Legionarium: Hierarchical structure for the Star Guild, Nova Guild, and Eternal Legion 1. Star Guild (Parent Guild – Supreme Authority)

• Role:

The central, planet-wide guild based on Legana. Oversees all exploratory, defensive, and scientific missions related to the Eternity system. It is essentially the command guild — governing policies, allocating resources, and appointing elite sub-guilds for specialized missions.

• Structure:

• High Star Council – The ruling body that directs all operations.

• Star Legates – Senior commanders assigned to manage each sub-guild or expedition.

• Division Wings – Specialized branches (Exploration, Combat, Engineering, Arcane Sciences).

• Authority:

All other guilds report to Star Guild, though they maintain internal autonomy for field operations.

2. Nova Guild (Sub-Guild – Pioneers of Eternity)

• Role:

The first guild to discover Planet Eternity and descend into its dungeons. Primarily tasked with reconnaissance and the first attempt to restart the ancient solar-stabilizing machines buried beneath the planet.

• Their mission ended in mystery: most members vanished, leaving scattered logs and automated drones as evidence of their work.

• Status:

Officially marked as Missing in Action, but still holds legendary status as the “First Flame” — inspiring other guilds (like the Eternal Legion) to continue their work.

• Connection to Star Guild:

Operated under Star Guild’s authority but had near-complete independence due to the experimental nature of their mission.

3. Eternal Legion (Sub-Guild – The Enforcers & Fixers)

• Role:

A special operations guild deployed after Nova Guild’s disappearance. Their mission is twofold:

1. Complete Nova Guild’s work by repairing the ancient solar siphoning and stabilization machines to prevent Legana’s star from going supernova.

2. Investigate the fate of Nova Guild and secure any technology or artifacts they uncovered.

• Traits:

• More combat-oriented than Nova Guild, with heavy use of EXO perks, specialized weaponry, and advanced training.

• Functions as both a military and technical force, balancing dungeon combat with system restoration.

• Connection to Star Guild:

Fully reports to Star Guild, though field decisions are left to their Legate Commanders due to the dangerous, unpredictable environment.

Hierarchy Summary

1. Star Guild (Legana-based command) – Supreme oversight, political and logistical control.

• Sub-Guilds report directly to the Star Council.

2. Nova Guild (Pioneers) – First expedition, now missing, leaving clues and unfinished work.

3. Eternal Legion (Active operations) – Combat engineers and investigators sent to finish Nova Guild’s mission and protect the star system.
